Review

This review applies to version 1.0 The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our informers.

World of Goo is a puzzle game developed by 2D Boy.
Many viscous droplets are dispersed through the world and you have to recover them from wherever they are. Under this premise is presented this peculiar World of Goo, an original game of wits controlled by the mouse.

As I said these droplets are the essence of the game. Despite their appearance and their helpless minimal intelligence, you will see that they can survive in very adverse conditions. With some effort, it is possible to connect them to build complex structures such as bridges or towers.

If you pass enough goo balls through the exit pipe to the glass beaker waiting at the other end, you win to gather goo another day. In addition to the hostile elements of each level, the main enemy of World of Goo are the laws of physics: if you build unstable structures, the rescue attempt will fail. You will find that some of the droplets have special power as well as they can be used more than once or they can destroy your last move.
There are 48 levels which can be solved in many different ways In the demo version you can only do the first level or chapter.

Graphics and sound
The graphics are incredible and colorful as well as the scenarios. The sound effects are amazing and the soundtrack is gorgeous.

To sum up this is an addictive game, you will love it.
Advantages
  • Colorful scenarios and gorgeous soundtrack.
Disadvantages
  • Not found.
